Enhancing Urban Mobility Sustainably
Our company is dedicated to help revolutionize how light rail (LR) trains are powered. At the heart of this, is our desire to help operators become more energy efficient so they can stop wasting money on non performing expenditures that clearly do not boost ridership or customer loyalty. It is a symbionic relationship where we recieve access producing surplus energy for our profit; and the operator cuts its operating costs and greenhouse gas emissions Purchasing Renewable Tax Credits from wind farms operators in West Texas. This is a great example of what “not to do”.
Oup products and systems help inform their passengers and voters in the cities they serve, to know the how their tax revenues are how at every level. This begins with deployment of premium clean energy assets made in the USA, and identifying basic cost cutting measures within their daily operations to reduce consumption. Our power generation components are designed to operate for 30-40 years in rugged and harsh environments, and we don’t sacrifice durability or performance, for price.
SunRails were invented in 2024 to power lighting stations for the Texas Parks and Wildlife Department. In March of 2025, our focus expended to include powering light rail transit systems, of which there 39 light rail lines in the lower 48 states. Based on several of these light rail systems consuming more than 10.8MW of energy annually, the commercial and industrial group with Sol-Ark of Allen, TX was brought in to design a utility grade solar power management and battery storage solution. Working with their CEO, executive group, and engineers; we created a joint venture to integrate SunRails with Sol-Ark’s commercial and industrial inverters and batteries.
SunRails are four 585W panels configured in a modular section that is assembled in an ISO 9001:2015 warehouse to ensure the highest quality. The modular sections are prewired, tested and certified before delivery to the installation site; which arrive, plug and play ready. SunRails were designed to lay flat on the railbed, which fit precisely between the 4′-8.5″ standard train tracks. However, we soon discovered many areas of track were shaded on both sides by 50-yo trees. SunRails are durable enough to be transported on open trailers; stacked two rows wide and eight sections high. Once installed, they can be walked over and on by train personnel, as they are warranted to survive impact from flying debris, rocks and hailstone strikes for 30-years.
SunRails’ utility patent pending design, combines three unique attributes. First, is the 150mph wind rating from its aerodynamic design by using concealed screws, bolts and fasteners that reduces drag when the trains pass over the panels at high speeds. Second, are the articulating joint brackets (AJB) that secure multiple sections together; and most importantly, relieve the metallurgic stresses upon modular strings that can be up to a half mile in length. Third, are the anti-vibration pads that support the weight of the modules and protect the panel’s bus bars, internal wiring, conduit and junction boxes. These qualities together make removing the modular sections for track maintenance, and resetting, an easy task.
192 modular sections connected to (6) sets of Sol-Arks 60kW inverters + 60kWh BESS can deliver 684kWh of power per day to a single Traction Control Substation (TCSS). We can perform installations while the trains are operating, and complete most installations in less than 4 weeks.

50 years ago, America was grappling with an unprecedented energy crisis. An oil embargo by the Arab countries against the U.S. created fuel shortages around the world, and forced motorists to wait for hours at gas stations, exposing the fragility of our country’s energy supply. Today, it’s a different kind of energy crisis, one of supply and demand due to the rising cost of electricity that’s occuring from rapid growth in AI, Blockchain and DATA Centers.
As we look to the future, our vision is to expand solar-powered light rail systems throughout North America by making public transportation more accessible, environmentally friendly, and energy conscious. We invite you to join us on this journey towards a sustainable future, where solar energy powers the transit systems of tomorrow, benefiting both the planet and its inhabitants.
